There are STILL people screaming from the rooftops that calorie counting is the ONLY way to lose weight, but this couldn't be further from the truth. Calorie counting also promotes disordered eating- something I cover in this course with sources to back it up! Calories are literally units of energy. Cutting them down will reduce your overall energy output, especially if you are also exercising long periods of time as well. This is the quickest way to put yourself into burnout unfortunately.

Once I started delving into natural health I realized how absolutely ridiculous this advice is. So many of us have been yo-yo dieters: we’ll diet, lose the weight, then go back to eating normally, gain some weight back, then go on a diet again, and on and on it goes.Weight loss gimmicks are just created to make people money, and to make people think they are being healthy by dropping 30 pounds in 30 days.
As someone that has struggled with weight their whole lives, I completely understand the struggle of losing weight. The journey can be long and frustrating, but I am hoping that I can help people to realize that there is hope for true, lasting, sustainable weight loss without starving yourself or working out 3 hours a day. There is SO much more to weight loss than just deprivation and punishment. It's time to take back our power, heal, and then lose the weight so we can not only LOOK good, we will FEEL good as well.

Kristin is a holistic nutritionist that has been using HTMA and mineral balancing in her practice for about 4 years now. She is a huge advocate for gut healing, and it's almost always the first step in her protocols for clients. Without a healthy gut, we just cannot be healthy! In order to get minerals balanced, we need to be able to absorb and utilize them correctly.
